how to check for signs of testicular cancer
Testicular cancer accounts for less than 2% of cancer cases in France. Less than 500 people die every year from testicular cancer. Even if only 8000 men are diagnosed with this cancer each year, it is important that men know the signs. Early prevention is the best prevention!
Testicular cancer is the formation of malignant cells in the testes. The causes are cryptorchidism, inguinal hernia, and some form of kidney disease. Self-examination is recommended.
The process of self-examination is simple. Proceed carefully your fingers around your testicles to check for lumps or bumps. Most of the time, these bumps are painless, but in some cases it may be painful. Do it on a regular basis, say, for example, once a month.
If you notice any changes in the size of your testicles, see your doctor. Usually, a doctor does the exam, then follow up with an ultrasound by a urologist. Ultrasound is the best way to tell if a lump or lump is discovered cancer. Blood testing can also be done to look for markers of cancer.
Good news is that this type of cancer is very treatable with a survival rate of over 90 percent. Surgical removal of the testes, chemotherapy or radiation therapy are all forms of treatment options. We loved the cottages' gardens Mathieu "despite the distance separating the sea (about 20 minutes drive through the bush): a lovely site with sea views, comfort and decor of the room design contrasts with the style barn from outside, pool, jacuzzi very valuable and undeniable peace and tranquility. We recommend this place for couples or friends without children.
