Saint-Pierre-des-Corps

Saint-Pierre-des-Corps est une ville de la banlieue est de Tours, située entre la Loire et le Cher. Ravagée par des inondations de la Loire en 1527, 1577, 1755 et 1856, elle a été, de plus, en grande partie détruite lors de bombardements en 1944, en particulier dans la nuit du 10 au 11 avril 1944. C'est un centre ferroviaire important de l'ouest de la France. Ses habitants sont appelés les Corpopétrussiens et les Corpopétrussiennes.
